Client Overview: Our client is a well known brand in the US market and have called on us to assist them in identifying an SCF Supervisor-DICP for their operations.
Job title: Segregated Compound Facility (SCF) Supervisor-DICP
Mission:
The SCF Supervisor-DICP is responsible for leading end-to-end production operations, ensuring high-quality output, team performance, process efficiency, and safety compliance. This role drives daily execution while fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement, quality control, and operational excellence within a high-performance manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Production Oversight:
- Supervise the entire manufacturing process, including ingredient dosing, mixing, ball milling, and storage, ensuring each step follows the established procedures and recipe specifications.
- Monitor the batching process, from mixer setup to ingredient dispensing and final product storage.
- Ensure continuous operation by managing production flow and addressing any issues or delays in the process.

Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of operators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they understand and follow procedures.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring the team is fully equipped to handle their roles.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging team members to contribute to problem-solving and improvements.

Quality Control & Compliance:
- Ensure product quality meets established standards by performing regular quality checks and ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Review process data and sampling results to maintain consistency and quality in the final product.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, ensuring all processes meet company and industry requirements.

Process Optimization & Troubleshooting:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Troubleshoot any equipment or system issues, working closely with maintenance or engineering teams to resolve problems swiftly and minimize downtime.

Inventory & Materials Management:
- Oversee the inventory of raw materials, ensuring sufficient stock levels are maintained to meet production schedules.
- Ensure raw materials are used according to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles and monitor ingredient flow to avoid interruptions in the production process.
- Monitor ingredient dosing and ensure that recipes are followed precisely.

Safety & Training:
- Ensure all production processes are carried out safely, and team members adhere to health and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for team members to maintain a safe working environment.
- Address any safety concerns and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and practices.

Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, equipment performance, ingredient usage, and quality control results.
- Generate regular reports on production efficiency, batch performance, and inventory status for upper management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and batch processing.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, ideally in food production.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including batching, mixing, and quality control.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in a production environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to work with both team members and management.
Target Compensation Range: $76,702 to $107,383
Other information: Candidate must show proof of US citizenship/visa/alien registration. No sponsorship will be offered for this role.
