Regional Sales Manager
Client Overview: Our client is a leading manufacturer of precision machines with more than 60 years of engineering excellence and a strong international footprint. To assist them with their continued growth in the US market, they've called on us to assist them in identifying a Regional Sales Manager.
Job title: Regional Sales Manager - West Coast
Mission: The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving new business development and expanding existing accounts across the West Coast territory. The role focuses on achieving and exceeding sales targets through direct customer engagement, channel partner development, and strategic market expansion in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across the West Coast region.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with corporate objectives and regional growth targets.
Build, maintain, and expand relationships with customers, agents, and channel partners.
Conduct customer needs assessments and propose tailored machinery and technical solutions.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and broader industry developments.
Representation at industry events, trade shows, and key customer engagements.
Support proposal development, pricing coordination, and contract negotiations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in the U.S. market, ideally within industrial capital equipment.
Strong background in machine tools, fabrication equipment, or industrial machinery highly preferred.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Residence within the West Coast/Southwest region, with ability to travel extensively.
