Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Senior Manager
Mission:
The Manufacturing Engineering Senior Manager is responsible for leading industrial engineering and manufacturing transformation initiatives focused on process optimization, industrialization, equipment implementation, and strategic project execution to support production growth, efficiency, and operational excellence within the manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities:
a. Lead production process optimization initiatives including plant layout improvements, line balancing, bottleneck reduction, ergonomics enhancement, and waste reduction activities.
b. Manage industrialization and equipment implementation projects including defining technical specifications, supplier coordination, commissioning, acceptance testing, and Industry 4.0/5.0 initiatives.
c. Drive end-to-end industrial and manufacturing project management activities, coordinating cross-functional teams across Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance.
d. Support manufacturing scale-up activities, engineering change implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with operational and business objectives.
e. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
a. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or industrial project management roles within a manufacturing environment.
b. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including metal stamping, welding, assembly, and automation systems; experience with enameling, painting, or foam injection is considered a plus.
c. Experience with process improvement methodologies, time and motion studies, lean manufacturing, and WCM or continuous improvement systems.
d. Technical expertise in equipment procurement, vendor management, and engineering design software including AutoCAD and other 2D/3D tools.
e. Understanding of safety, quality, maintenance systems, cost control, and operational performance metrics within a manufacturing environment.
Additional Information:
Spanish language skills are preferred but not required.
Experience working within multicultural or international manufacturing environments is considered advantageous.
