Senior Production Supervisor
Client Overview: Our client is a global industrial manufacturer with operations in North America. The company is known for its technical excellence, customer focus, and commitment to continuous improvement. To support operations at their U.S. facility, they are seeking a Senior Production Supervisor.
Job title: Senior Production Supervisor
Mission: The Senior Production Supervisor will oversee day-to-day production operations and serve as a key leader within the U.S. facility. This individual will ensure efficient coordination across production teams, drive process improvements, and foster a high-performance culture. The ideal candidate is proactive, hands-on, and capable of leading teams, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to operational excellence
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee production activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.
Supervise and develop production staff, promoting accountability and collaboration.
Monitor operational metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to optimize performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Support workforce development, onboarding, and performance management initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and workflow effectiveness.
Act as a key operational liaison across departments and teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or production environments.
Proven ability to manage and mentor teams, fostering accountability and performance.
Strong knowledge of operational processes, safety practices, and quality systems.
Hands-on, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
Exposure to multinational or matrixed organizations preferred.
